About Me
Being a therapist is my true calling. It’s a profound honor to walk alongside my clients as they become more at home in themselves. My deep curiosity about the human experience is a steady source of energy and purpose in my work.
Before earning my master’s degree in counseling from Lenoir-Rhyne University in Asheville, I spent a decade working as a journalist and audio documentarian. What I loved most about that work was holding space for others: listening deeply, asking meaningful questions, and witnessing the complexity of their lived experiences. Over time, I realized it wasn’t just the stories that moved me, but the privilege of being invited into someone’s inner world. That realization is what drew me to the path of becoming a therapist.
When I’m not seeing clients, I like to spend time in nature, read books and watch documentaries, and come up with absurd nicknames for my dog and cat. Going to therapy myself and meditating helps me stay grounded and present.
I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate (#A21692) under the supervision of Janelle Railey, LCMHCS (#S9492).
